This sampler is owned by the Bavarian National Museum in Munich. The sampler shows the coat of arms and the monogram (HAG) of the Gruber family. The so-called flower baroque is typical of the Nuremberg samplers. Flowers also play a central role in this sampler. Even after so many centuries, the patterns still look fresh and cheerful.
